Students' Union building at UWE Bristol

UWE Bristol Students' Union building

We’ve built a brand new building for The Students' Union at UWE on our Frenchay Campus, bringing together all Students' Union facilities into one location so that students can easily find the services they need.

We’ve invested £10m to create the new energy-efficient building, which is designed to improve the experience of our students with enhanced facilities, spaces and easier to access services.

The two interlinked buildings facing the central plaza offer vibrant spaces to enhance the work of student reps, with volunteering activities, societies, sports and networks for students, all located in a multi-purpose engagement and social area. There’s also a bar, café, shop, terraces with outdoor seating, and bookable meeting areas.

The building was successfully completed and handed over during July 2015. All of our existing Students' Union facilities have now been relocated to the new building, and it is open for students to use.
