The Centre for Performing Arts at UWE Bristol perform regular events and concerts ranging from orchestral music to African drumming. Below is a selection of clips that hint at the broad range of talents we are lucky enough to host.

Chamber Orchestra

The UWE Chamber Orchestra is for experienced players with an interest in performing the wide spectrum of music that is available for the ensemble. The following clips were recorded during a performance at Bristol Cathedral in 2014.

Showstoppers

As its name suggests, this group sings its way through some of the all-time great show-stopping songs from Broadway and the West End, including Chicago, Guys and Dolls and Miss Saigon, as well as exciting new shows such as Rent, Wicked, and Tick Tick Boom. All are welcome and there's no audition. No previous experience is necessary. Good fun is guaranteed for participants!

Singing lessons

Singing lessons are available in most styles/genres. Subsidised places are available to some students, but places are very limited – so apply early.
