The Governance Team of Academic Services

The Governance Team of Academic Services are responsible for the maintenance and development of the University’s Governance Framework. This includes the Board of Governors, Academic Board Executive Groups and ensuring regulatory and legislative placed upon the University’s Governance structure are fulfilled.

Governance Team of Academic Services responsibilities include:

  • Advising the Chairs of Board of Governors and Academic Board on appropriate Governance Structures to support the University’s strategic objectives;
  • Maintaining the University Committee Calendar;
  • ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements placed upon the University’s Governance Structure through the development and implementation of policy ;
  • Developing processes underpinning the Governance structure, including the framework, standards and guidance for committee support
